Copyright and Takedown

1. Content Ownership

News articles, headlines, photographs, and other content gathered from public sources remain the property of their respective owners and publishers. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content displayed on the Service.

2. How We Use News Content

PH First is a news aggregation and fact-checking platform. We monitor news coverage in the Philippines and republish only short excerpts of articles — never full text — always with a link to the original source and a credit to the publisher. This limited use is for monitoring, analysis, and commentary.

If you are a rights holder and believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, or if you would like your publication or content removed from the Service, please contact us at legal@ph-first.org.

To help us act quickly, please include:

  • The exact URL(s) of the content on our Service.
  • The URL of the original content (if known).
  • Your name and contact details.
  • Your relationship to the content (owner, authorised agent, or other).

4. What Happens Next

We will review your request promptly. If the request is valid, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the content, and
  • Stop monitoring the affected source upon request.

We may take reasonable steps to verify ownership before removing content.
